The 2010 Dodge Caliber is an efficient five-door package with all-new interior features. It has been designed to appeal to global markets as an entry-level vehicle exuding a bold styling and superior SUV functionality. The FWD Caliber is powered two efficient Chrysler World Engines. The first engine is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Dual Overhead Cam 16-valve dual Variable Valve Timing engine that churns out 158 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 141 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. The second engine is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder Dual Overhead Cam 16-valve dual Variable Valve Timing engine rated at 172 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 165 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. A five-speed manual transmission is standard. The cargo capacity stands at 18.5 cubic feet. The caliber's maximum towing capacity is 1500 lbs.
