The 2010 Dodge Avenger is a practical and powerful mid-size sedan that makes a stylish statement with its bold design elements. A number of unique features like the innovative Uconnect Navigation, Uconnect Phone and SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Chill Zone, a storage compartment in the top of the instrument panel that holds up to four, 12-ounce beverage cans set the 2010 Dodge Avenger apart in the competitive mid-size segment. The four-door 2010 Dodge Avenger is available in SXT and the top-of-the-line R/T.

Power and performance

Three spirited engine types deliver effective power and fuel efficiency. The 235-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission is available on the R/T trim. The 173-horsepower, 2.4-liter, four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve dual VVT engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission is offered on the SXT and SE versions. The responsive 186-horsepower, 2.7-liter, DOHC 24-valve V6 engine (optional on SXT) helps reduce emissions and is teamed with a four-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy of the 2010 Avenger R/T is 16/27 mpg (city/highway) and that of the SXT and SE models is 21/30 mpg (city/highway). The 2010 Dodge Avenger comes with the Lifetime Powertrain Limited, Basic Limited, and Extended Warranties.
